Which in your opinion r the best indie movies ever?
Also any cool, underground films…?
thanks
BORDER is all time favourite Independence day special movie 4 me.Other than that RANG DE BASANTI is also very good.
Though their are also few old hindi movie which make you feel patriotic.
I just always wondered that in indie finls they arent filmed with big movie companies so do they have professional make up artist and desighners and people that do their hair?
Because with the movies that are filmed with big comapanies have make up artists. And people that do their make up. and people who choose their clothes for them.
Yes, indie films too have people who are soley responsible for makeup/hair, props, etc. Normally to save money, these people are recent college graduates and are only paid with film credit and experience. Also, the director or producer will also take some of those jobs in addition to their other ones.
For me, its gotta be the Godfather, Edward Scissorhands, The Good, Bad & Ugly and Taxi Driver. Can’t think of a fifth, but I love the theme of Million Dollar Baby and the Indiana Jones theme is a classic.
Raiders of the Lost Ark, Once Upon a Time in America, Moulin Rouge(1954 version), Amarcord, and New York, New York..
